Go Developer for IoT systems

THE ROLE

We are currently looking for Go Developer for IoT systems that will be part of our international Core team (of 10 people*)* which is responsible for building services and integrating devices from Zigbee and possibly soon Matter networks into a high-level system. You will be in charge of developing our Go application running on an Embedded Linux.

This is a great job for a person with a passion for trying out new tools, sharing ideas with the team, and putting in the effort to bring those ideas to life (you can use our systems at your home every day and see results of your work).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and developing Go application that interacts with wireless devices like sensors
• Adding support for new types of smart home devices
• Contributing to the building, customizing, and streamlining of our custom Linux-based operating system
• Designing software architecture and developing components required to communicate device to device & device to cloud
• Design and interface a database of the devices in the network
• Troubleshooting of problems in the Go application
• Rigorous revision controls of the software
• Discussing your ideas within a team to get the best solutions

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of active development with high-level languages at best with Go lang (or at least one of C++/C#/Rust or similar)
• Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Basic knowledge of databases
• Strong command of English
• Fast learner with growth mindset
• Team player
