The role
As a QA Engineer in Futurehome you will be part of our 6 people QA Team team which tests and safeguards the quality of all our products – mobile apps, cloud, hub, hardware and their interactions – in other words, a complete IoT ecosystem. You will be helping create a seamless system that connects thousands of homes and is used by millions of people!

We work according to the Scrum methodology, so you will be attending daily stand-ups and working in sprints to ensure that the work is done on time and at the highest quality possible.
Responsibilites
Procuring manual and automated (50/50) tests on the mobile, backend, and SmartHub side
Writing automated tests and finding areas for automation for our components
Writing documentation
Collaborating actively with our international and distributed teams
Executing and improving testing procedures and protocols to ensure the best solutions for our end users
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of active experience as a QA Engineer
Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in Python
Higher technical education
Any experience in IoT or electric/mechanic industry
Experience in API, Mobile & Web testing
Knowledge about STLC, SDLC
Good knowledge of software testing methodologies
Experience in working on Agile projects
Empathic approach
Strong logical/analytical skills
Proficiency in English (B2)
Nice to have:
Experience in Flutter would be great
Experience in Golang
Linux knowledge
ISTQB or equivalent certification
Familiarity with Selenium, TestRail
